Amy and Josh (with Peggy the dog!) at Dunster beach

I don't think you could find two people more totally comfortable with each than these two. Ten whole years as a couple after getting together at school and you can see that to each other they mean the whole wide world and more.

It was a beautiful afternoon spent with Amy and Josh and their beautiful little pup. Peggy was most unhappy about not being the star of the show on this occasion so decided to make a rather 'crappy' cameo half way through the shoot!

Here's a snippet of Amy, Josh and Peggy at Dunster Beach.

Sam and Louise's engagement session in the woods!

So I broke my New Year's resolution about regularly blogging by February -  wooops!!  However I do have to show off some of the amazing, gorgeous people I've been meeting of late and share them with the world so there may well be a string of new posts!

I met with Louise and Sam in a spot I had admittedly never heard of which was quiet and beautiful! We went for a stroll, slipped and slid all over the place with some very near misses and visited the place where these two secretly held hands for the first time. Loads of fun, giggles and happiness - the perfect mix for an engagement session.

Claire and Ed's Gorgeous Village Wedding

Helloooo! Happy New Year and welcome to 2018...the year that I WILL blog more (for sure, because I always stick to every new years resolution like everyone else...right?)

I'm kicking it off with this little beauty...a wedding full of fun, laughter, flowers, nature, shots and sparklers. A couple who are so just so perfect for each other just looking at the two of them makes you smile.

We started off capturing Claire at their own home, I have to say right now that Claire is the most calm, effortlessy beautiful bride who did not have one moment of madness - the day went without a single hiccup and this is definitely down to just how well planned and relaxed they both really are.

Once ready we did the small journey to the village church which is local to Ed's family home. The church is so cute, the perfect size in the perfect location ( I mean, there were geese in the car park!) . The connection between Claire and Ed was just unreal as they said their vows and became Mr and Mrs.

We then went onto Ed's family farm where the day continued and the party commenced. My favourite types of images are those where they just are so anaware of the camera and those involving nature - this wedding had plenty of both. Here's some photos from this epic day:

Alex and Joe's Forest Engagement Session.

I just love everything about these two! They're so lovely, so chilled and so perfectly suited. We met a couple of months ago at Haldon Forest to capture their couple's session in this beautiful part of Devon! Joe was set on having some photos with his beloved bike too and so glad we did! What an awesome couple - can't wait for the wedding next year!

Introducing....Sitter Sessions!

This time of your precious baby's life is just so amazing! They're developing their own little personalities, taking so much more of the world around them in and it's such a big milestone for them being able to sit alone. In no time at all, they'll be crawling, walking (and soon running!) so make the most of these magical moments!

Around 6-10 months (whenever your baby is sitting unaided but not yet on the move) is the perfect age for these sessions.

Sitter session can take up to 90 minutes to allow for nappy changes, feeds and outfit changes, you may also add in parent/sibling photos too.

I can't wait to meet all of your babies!!

Hayley and Darren's Beach Engagement Session

I think this engagement session will have to go down as one of the funniest (and wettest) ever! I'm actually pretty sure that Darren still holds it against me because all of us and their belongings came away pretty soggy! When you're soggy and you add glitter it's a pretty magical look though right?!

Amazing light, a gorgeous couple, some wild sea, super sparkly glitter and sunrays shining out of the moody clouds - don't think we could've wished for a better backdrop than the one we got this day at Woolacombe.

Claire and Tyson at West Town Farm, Ide, Exeter

Ahhh I just love these two! Such a stunning day full of laughter, hugs, straw bale jumping, beautiful colours, yummy cake and deserts and ceilidh dancing! If you want to have a laid back wedding that you can really put your stamp on then West Town Farm is your place! The weather may not have been on their side but hey...it is England (and Devon is notoriously wet right?!) and I don't think anyone noticed! When we managed to sneak off together the sun had finally decided to come on out and we captured some beautiful portraits of just Claire and Tyson. These bits are just so important to take a step back from your day and let it all sink in.

Claire and Tyson officially tied the knot in the gorgeous countryside village church in Withleigh, Devon. It's such a quaint little place and they had a beautiful ceremony before going on to West Town Farm. Here they had really made it so vibrant and gorgeous with lots of paper poms poms and the prettiest little table touches. Just behind the reception barn there were some super chilled cows and the a pigeon sat in the barn through the whole of the speeches!

Matt and Mel's Highbullen Wedding

These two....wow!! What a wedding! When you scroll down, you'll be able to see from the photos on the day that Matt and Mel's wedding at Highbullen was every bit as beautiful as the both of them. You could literally feel the love oozing from everyone there and the laughter was non stop. It's clear that these two have made a big impact on many people, none so more than they have on each other.

From an idyllic church wedding with the best lavender confetti throws yet to the wedding party tearing up the dance floor this was definitely a day to remember!

I'll leave the little details of the day here; Mel's make-up artist was the fab Timmone Blatchford, Meg Chalmers was on hair. The Church were Matt and Mel tied the knot was St Peters, Tiverton and the reception venue was High Bullen Hotel.

Claire and Tyson at Woolacombe!

Uhoh, I'm behind on my blog again so I'm kicking it off with this one! What can I say about these two?! I don't know where to start, they're both such brilliant people with such a passion for life and happiness. They snuck off from their little family holiday in Woolacombe to meet me for their engagement session and we are so glad we decided to do it there!

For those of you who don't know Woolacombe (North Devon)  you should. It's a majorly popular beach and it's easy to see why. The beautiful smooth sand, clear sea, rock pools and jellyfish make you feel like you're in another part of the world. The evening we met the sky was the most amazing colour, it was so moody yet calm and for once the beach was really quiet. We went for a stroll in the sand just chatting about their boys, life and all of their plans for their laid back wedding at West Town Farm.

Here are the photos from our fab time together:
