Mel and Simon at Highbullen Hotel

Mel and Simon at Highbullen Hotel

For Mel and Simon, tying the knot was the perfect way to complete their beautiful little family. The calmest couple I have ever worked with, this wedding was just epic. With beautiful high ceilings, luxurious rooms and stunning grounds - Highbullen Hotel is just amaaaazing. These two had a wonderful relaxed day with a ridiculousy cool band and some proper dancing in the evening!
This wedding did not come without a big surprise… Simon’s now in-laws bought a classic car that he has always wanted and spent months restoring it just for their wedding gift. If that’s not the lovliest thing you’ve ever heard, I don’t know what is!

Holly and Aaron wed!

A few weeks ago, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Holly and Aaron's beautiful wedding. Holly wins the award for the world's calmest bride - literally nothing fazed her!
They married officially in the gorgeous little church in the village of Sampford Peverell and we then went on to Calverleigh Village Hall which they transformed with such pretty, delicate decorations with the ultimate masterpiece being a Krispy Kreme donut wedding cake - yes that's right!!
A beautiful, super relaxed and amazingly well planned day made for such a beautiful wedding. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Cottrell!!

Mel and Matt's Couple Session

It was just so lovely meeting up with Matt and Mel at their very own little piece of paradise. Not only are they lucky enough to own this little area where they have camping trips, barbeques and chilled out sunny days but it's also the special place where Matt proposed (and Mel said yes!)
Two wonderful, in love and laid back people - their wedding will most definitely be something amazing.

Ross and Rose at Muddifords Court

Ross and Rose at Muddifords Court

This story started when I met Rose back in November 2015 over a coffee at Costa! We chatted all about their wedding, dresses, bridesmaids and all the details of the day. I knew that this day would be something special but couldn’t have been prepared for how wonderfully detailed and planned every last little thing was – along with possibly the coolest, calmest Bride and Groom ever!

It was plainly obvious throughout the day how much everyone loves this couple, the day was filled with so much pride and happiness and most of all fun.  Here are just a selection of some of this wonderful day.

Venue: Muddifords Court
Cake: Claire Makes Cakes
Make-up: Laura Le Page Bridal
Wedding Cars:  Land Rover

Jo and Mat's Home Farm Wedding

Jo and Mat's Home Farm Wedding

What a gorgeous wedding this was in a small little village just outside of Honiton. Devon is always a wonderful place to get married, the rolling green hills, all of the different colours at all times of the year – you can guarantee that no place will look the same as it did the day before.

There was slight worry about the rain that set in on this day but Jo and Mat were absolute troopers and didn’t let it phase them at all. They had such a personal, heartfelt ceremony at Luppitt Church, travelled back to Jo’s parents farm where they had a wonderfully decorated marquee and that’s where the party continued! There were so many smiles and so much laughter, lots of tears of happiness too. Some awesome speeches, a hay bale cake and some wicked awesome dancing!

Here’s the wedding photography from this magical day:
